She Asked For It isn’t my first time on the Willow Winters rodeo. Although I really do need to read more of her work if this book is anything to go by. When reviewing a book as complexed as this, its really hard not to give anything away. The story is deep and with the main character keeping a lot from you its extremely hard not to give spoilers, but I will do my best.
Willow has created a great story here with She Asked For it. I could have easily read this over one sitting, but had to stretch it to two because of… Well you know, sleep. I found this book literally took all my focus and everything else (Except coffee and food) paled in comparison. The story has a good pace, the initial chapter in the past leaves you slightly with your mouth open and then you are thrown in the present. In this book it does delve a lot into the things that happened in the past, but also is working towards future events too.
Main characters Allie and Dean do a great job of weaving something that’s both dark and sexy with a hint of ominous. I adored Dean’s character. Damn he had it going on, what a BBF he was! Hot, dominating alpha with depth and a serious amount of baggage. Add to that Allie, oh Allie where do I even start with you. Sexy smart Allie with so much baggage she’s being charged for carrying extra and a sexuality that was so refreshing for one of these books. I’m not going to mention other characters as they each had their role in this one but will say I’m looking forward to Daniel’s story in the next book.
To conclude I couldn’t fault She Asked For It. The book was complex without doing my head in and hot to read. I loved the drama, how the characters evolved in the story and the pace at which it was written. Dean was just an added bonus and it was hard not to like Allie in fairness and their connection was off the charts. Willow has created a great read here and I’d recommend this to those who like New Adult romance with a dark element (Although this book could hold triggers for some). There is a HEA but what I loved about this one is it still didn’t feel perfect – those are my favourite kind of books… More real. 4 stars, this one has my seal of approval.

Willow started writing after having her little girl, Evie, December 2015. All during her pregnancy with Evie she continued to read and she only wanted to read romance. She was reading a book a day — sometimes two.
In January 2016 Willow was staying up late with Evie and just thinking of all these stories. They came to her constantly so she finally sat down and just started writing. She always wanted to do it so she figured, why not? Today Willow cannot be happier for making that decision!
